What is it?
An outdoor, youth-led outreach with a high energy program presenting life lessons through music, puppets, dance and drama.

 Groceries, clothing, lunch, prizes and school supplies are often distributed to families that attend.

Where?
Sidewalk Celebration takes place several times a year, directly in neighborhoods across Hampton Roads.

The program has been presented to over 11,000 young people living in at-risk neighborhoods in Hampton Roads, the Bronx and South African townships.

Youth Leadership Development/Performing Arts Program
Leadership teaching to 65 low-income youth along with the discipline for the performing arts. Participants learn dance, mime, drama, poetry recitation and stepping and then perform together at the Kempsville Theater.

What is it?
Summer Camps bringing a message of hope and possibility through educational programs, field trips, athletic activities, community service and a finale camp performing arts presentation.

Jump Start Your Heart!
An innovative and highly interactive nutrition program teaching at risk children and youth the importance of making healthy nutritional choices regardless of family budget.

Practical & healthy choices are encouraged through games and projects that can be applied to their
lifestyles. 
 
 Homeless to Housing
The H2H program provides children and youth who are in transitional living situations ongoing educational and programming support.

Meeting weekly, the young people gather for homework help, unique
learning opportunities, enjoy a family style dinner and spend one on one time with committed volunteers and mentors.

 Once a month the parents are invited to dinner and to view their children’s newly learned skills whether it be learning to play the drums, mime, swimming, photography or dance.

The program provides for many practical needs of the families we serve.
