Our day camps bring a message of hope and possibility through educational programs, field trips, performing arts, athletic activities and a community service project. We believe that Jeremiah 29:11 is true for every child who attends our summer camp program.
“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.
The camps encourage children to dream of possibilities in life through learning of the lives of others who have struggled to overcome obstacles similar to theirs to achieve success.
Where?
Capture the Dream Summer Camps take place either in churches or community centers located in our low income neighborhoods in Hampton Roads.
If you live in Atlantis Apartments and are interested in placing your child (rising first graders - rising fifth graders) in the Capture the Dream Summer Camp from June 21st - July 30, 2010 please download the attached application and submit it to Ms. Angie at the Community Center no later than June 1st. Camp space is limited so sign up now!
If you live in Campostella and would like your child to attend a one week Capture the Dream Summer Blast - June 21- June 25 from 8AM - 2PM daily. Rising first graders through rising 6th graders. Camp will be held at Campostella Recreation Center. Please return the application to the Recreation Center no later than June 1st.
